Campaign Manager - Campaign Calendar

Campaign Calendar Track Analysis

Track Analysis allows a user to see how a campaign audience is performing on a track by track basis on a given day.

Data within here is captured on a daily basis, and when entering Campaign Track Analysis you see a snap shot of the data as it currently is. This means that there might be no data within the Touches column, but there might be data in the Engagement column.

The screen appears as follows:

The name of the campaign appears across the top of Track Analysis, click on the Back button to return to Campaign Calendar.

Track data is displayed in a grid on the right hand side of the pane.

Each track in the campaign is included, with the following data captured:

Name Description
Audience The number of recipients within the track.
Touches The number of contacts sent to recipients in that track.
Engagement Their reaction to the touch, for example clicking on a link or purchasing an item. Engagement scores are generated per recipient so the Engagement column can have figures in it, even without the track being processed.

Deleted or renamed tracks are also shown, these tracks show whether any data has been captured against them.

The left hand side of the pane shows the track information in graph format. Each circle is color coded to the track that it relates to.

The size of the bubble indicates the audience size.

The vertical axis indicates how engaged the audience is.

The horizontal axis indicates how many contacts (emails etc.) were made.

Successful campaigns are shown with a large bubble moving to the top right. This indicates that your campaign audience is receiving communications and their engagement is increasing. Moving to bottom right indicates a non-successful campaign as it shows an increase in contact and a decrease in customer engagement.

Changing the date of the view

The sliding date bar along the bottom of the pane allows you to look at the information on a given date. The information is captured on a rolling one month basis, but this will differ if the campaign runs for less than a month. When a campaign completes (or is canceled) the metric data will continue for 2 days to ensure all data is gathered.

Gaps in the data can occur because no snapshot was taken or no activity was captured on that day.
